Cows

Cows (also know in some places as cattle) are one of the most common of the domesticated hoofed animals (technically known as ungulates) Cows are raised both for their milk production and as livestock for meat. In some countries they are also used to pull carts or plows on the farms. Other lesser know uses of the cow are the production of leather from the skin and manure or fuel from the dung. In India the cow is held as a sacred animal

There has been many controversial decisions made over the last few years over the way cows should be raised and mik production yields increased. It would seem that a lot of the traditional methods are dying out.
